Shipping destinations: We ship within Canada only.
Shipping times: Canadian orders take 7-10 business days to be delivered to you and we ship within 5 business days. Shipping time might vary depending on location, shipment method and other factors.
Shipping cost: Orders over $250 will have free shipping. Orders under $250 will be charged for shipping depending on your chosen delivery method and country. Full price will be displayed at checkout.

- If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we offer 100% refund.
- Timing: we have a 30-day Return & Exchange Policy, from date the item was received.
- To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- For returns, please email email@example.com with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return.
- ToeFX will provide the customer with instructions where to send returned goods. Customers are strongly recommended to get proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations.
- Please note that customers are responsible for shipping costs of returned items.
- When returned item is received and inspected, customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund.
- If the refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.
Nail fungus is a common infection that usually manifests as yellow or whitish spot under the tip of the toenail. As time progresses and the infection becomes more severe, nails can become discoloured, thick and brittle around the edges. It can affect several nails. Adults are much more commonly affected than children and toenail fungus is more common than fingernail fungus. The most common species of fungus are Trichophyton rubrum or Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and the organism usually lives in the nail bed underneath the nail, or in the nail matrix or plate. Some of common signs of fungal nails are:
- Whitish to yellow/brown "stains" on the nails
- A dark color, caused by debris building up under your nail
- Thick nails
- Ragged, crumbly nails
- Distortion in the shape of the nail
- An unplesant smell
Toenail fungus can be difficult to diagnose, as it can often be confused with other conditions, including ingrown nails, psoriasis, and inflammatory disorders. Your clinician may recommend sending a nail sample out to a laboratory to confirm diagnosis.
The ClearToe Therapy light and ClearToe serum is the first photodynamic therapy product designed expressly for nail fungus available for sale in Canada.
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a two-stage treatment that combines shining a light with application of a topical serum called a photosensitizer. ToeFX's ClearToe Serum is applied to the toenail and allowed to soak into the nail for 15 minutes. The nails are temporarily stained blue. The clinician switches on the ClearToe Therapy Light and allows the treatment to penetrate for another 15 minutes.
The patent-pending ClearToe Serum is non-toxic, safe and sold by ToeFX Inc. in Canada under a Medical Device Establishment License. When the ClearToe Therapy Light is switched on, the ClearToe serum is activated. The molecule absorbs light and transitions from its ground electronic state to an excited state known as a triplet state. The excited photosensitizer molecule immediately transfers energy to surrounding molecular oxygen, producing reactive oxygen species (ROS) which are responsible for lethally disrupting the fungal cell wall. These ROS products are very short-lived, and the ROS-production process ceases immediately when the ClearToe Therapy Light is switched off.
Several photosensitizers are available today to treat a variety of conditions including acne, psoriasis, age-related macular degeneration, and several cancers. The ClearToe system is the first photodynamic therapy approved in Canada for toenail fungus. The ClearToe Therapy Light and ClearToe Therapy Serum were developed via a research partnership with McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. The product is a gentle, non-toxic light therapy treatment designed specifically to heal fungus-infected nails.

The ClearToe serum contains Inula Viscosa, a botanical extract that has been proven to have anti-inflammatory properties and is used in traditional medicine to promote wound healing. The serum also contains a dye that temporarily stains the infected nail blue.
When the ClearToe Therapy Light is switched on, the ClearToe serum is activated. The serum molecules absorb light and transition to an excited state, which generates powerful energy that creates reactive oxygen species (ROS). These ROS disrupt the fungus, eventually killing it. The process stops immediately when the ClearToe Therapy Light is switched off.
The ClearToe treatment is painless and non-toxic. A foot care professional gently files down the nail, then brushes ClearToe Serum onto the nail and lets it soak 15 minutes. Gentle red light is shone onto the nail for another 15 minutes. Always test topical applications on a small patch of skin before widespread use. In the rare case of an allergic reaction, simply wash the serum off and any symptoms should cease. This treatment is not ingested or injected and the product contains no lasers (LEDs only).
